In the beginning, Mother of Time and Father of the Cosmos united, and from their eternal bond the universe was born. Out of this cosmic harmony emerged the Fates—Danielle, Fate of the Past; Azrael, Fate of the Present; and Jonathan, Fate of the Future. 

 

Following the fall of Lucifer and his Fallen legion, life spread across Earth and countless other worlds, each shaped by divine intention. But from the shadows of creation, a new threat rose to challenge the order of existence. Lord Doom’s Day and his followers ignited a cataclysmic conflict that engulfed the universe. The Guardians, the Fallen, and the Doom’s Day Forces clashed in a war without mercy. During the turmoil, the Father of the Cosmos mysteriously vanished shortly after a protective barrier was put around Earth—his final act of guardianship.

 

 The Mother of Time, the Fates, and the Guardians clung to hope, yet despair deepened when Jonathan, the Fate of the Future, was slain by Genocide in the infamous Shadow War. With the future severed, the universe drifted into uncertainty. Years turned into decades. The role of the Fate of the Future remained empty—until the unexpected dawn of a new era. Eliora, the second Fate of the Future, was born during the modern age. 

 

Raised upon the hidden island of the Guardians,  completely concealed from human sight, she grew up during a time when conflict brewed quietly across distant galaxies. Meanwhile, Azrael—now widely known as the Grim Reaper after forging an alliance with the enigmatic Reaper

faction—undertook the responsibility of maintaining order and protecting humanity from the truth of the cosmic war. During an investigation, Grim and a human ally named Nelson—known as Shadow Tiger, wielder of the Axe of Savage Retribution—uncovered a dangerous mystery in Jerusalem: a substance called Soul Grinder. 

 

Its existence sets Grim on a path that threatens to unravel humanity’s understanding of life, death, and the balance 

between them.
